A graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, Chan’s achievements include winning the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Concerto Competition, where he performed alongside the Academy’s orchestra at the Winners’ Concert. Shortly after graduation, he was appointed bass trombonist of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, a testament to his extraordinary talent and professional artistry.
